In this article, you will learn how to merge clients and saved their information and configuration into one client. All essential data will be copied over to the chosen destination (the client that will be left after merging) and other duplicate clients will be deleted. The following data are mandatorily moved to the destination client:
- Orders
- Refunds
- Payments
- Jobs
The following options can also be moved if you have selected them prior to merging the clients:
- Delivery Addresses
- Employees
- Prices
This option is best used when multiple or there are duplicate clients. follow the steps below to merge clients.
- On the Module Menu, click Client Management and select View Clients. You will be directed to the Client Management page.
- On the Client Management page, use the Clients panel to search/filter clients by entering one or more details.
- After defining the filter parameters, click.
- The related results will appear on the list of clients. Find and select the clients that you want to merge by selecting their Checkboxes.
- After selecting the clients, click the Actions drop-down menu and select Merge Clients.
- You will be directed to the Merge Clients screen. Ensure to read the instructions before proceeding as none destination client(s) will be deleted after merging.
- In the Instructions panel, select/deselect the options that you want to move to the destination client:
- Delivery Addresses
- Employees
- Prices
- In the Clients To Merge panel, select the destination client by selecting its Radio button under the Destination column.
- Note: to remove selected clients, you can click the Remove button beside its status.
- You can add additional clients to merge using the All Clients panel. You can use the Client No and/or Client Name fields to filter the list. Find the client(s) and click the SELECT button beside their status to add more clients to merge.
- Review the clients before continuing. If you are all set, scroll down and click the >MERGE button.
- A Confirmation dialog box will appear, click >YES to continue.
