In this article, you will learn how to update your farm's Quickbooks Settings. The Quickbooks Settings panel allows you to manage quickbooks labels and enable/disable some of the export data configuration.

  1. On the Module Menu, click Farm Management and select Update Farm. You will be directed to the Update Farm page.
  2. Scroll down to the Quickbooks Settings panel. This panel lets you update your farm's quickbooks configuration.
  3. In the Quickbooks Settings panel, configure the settings to match your farm's preference:

    Quickbooks Shipping Item Name
    enter the Quickbooks shipping item name. This will appear as the shipping item name in Quickbooks.
    Quickbooks Tax Item Name
    enter the Quickbooks tax item name. This will appear as the tax item name in Quickbooks.
    Export Refund On Invoice Instead of as CM
    click the drop down arrow to enable/disable the export refund on invoice instead of as CM option.
    Export Quantity Returned For Returns
    click the drop down arrow to enable/disable the export quantity returned for returns option.
    Export Sale Credit
    click the drop down arrow to enable/disable the export sale credit option.
    Quickbooks Multi-Location Class Name
    enter the Quickbooks multi-location class name. This will appear as the multi-location class name in Quickbooks.
    Export Tax
    click the drop down arrow to enable/disable the export tax option.
    Export By
    click the drop down arrow to select the export preference:
    • Area
    • Units
    Print Later
    click the drop down arrow to enable/disable the print later option.
    Quickbooks Discount Item Name
    enter the Quickbooks discount item name. This will appear as the discount item name in Quickbooks.
    Quickbooks Pallet Cost Item Name
    enter the Quickbooks pallet cost item name. This will appear as the pallet cost item name in Quickbooks.
    Quickbooks Tube Cost Item Name

    enter the Quickbooks tube cost item name. This will appear as the tube cost item name in Quickbooks.
    Quickbooks Tote Cost Item Name

    enter the Quickbooks tote cost item name. This will appear as the tote cost item name in Quickbooks.
    Quickbooks Box Cost Item Name

    enter the Quickbooks box cost item name. This will appear as the box cost item name in Quickbooks.
    Quickbooks Drum Cost Item Name

    enter the Quickbooks drum cost item name. This will appear as the drum cost item name in Quickbooks.
    Quickbooks Tray Cost Item Name

    enter the Quickbooks tray cost item name. This will appear as the tray cost item name in Quickbooks.
    Quickbooks Accounts Receivable Names
    enter the Quickbooks accounts receivable names. Add one account name per line and the first line is set as default.


  4. Review the updated Quickbooks Settings before saving. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click to apply the changes.
  5. A Confirmation message will appear on the screen indicating that the Farm was successfully updated.
