In this article, you will learn how to create user accounts with harvester credentials and configurations. User access, features, and authorization may vary depending on the user group (e.g. Admin, Office, Harvester, Driver).

  1. On the Module Menu, click User Management and select Create User.  You will be directed to the Create User page. In this page, you can choose what user to create and specify the user information.
  2. In the User Group field, click the drop down menu and select Harvester. Additional harvester related fields and configuration will be enabled.
  3. Specify the Harvester details:
    First Name
    enter the harvester's first name
    Last Name

    enter the harvester's last name
    Email Address

    enter the harvester's email address
    SMS Phone

    enter the harvester's phone number where SMS notifications, instructions, or messages will be sent to
    Receive SMS

    click the drop down arrow to enable/disable this feature or use the farm's default settings.
    Receive Unassigned SMS

    click the drop down arrow to enable/disable this feature or use the farm's default settings
    enter the harvester's account's username
    enter a temporary password that the user can use to access the account. This can be updated/changed once the user accesses the account
    Repeat Password

    re-enter the password that you entered in the Password field

  4. Define the Harvester configuration by selecting the appropriate checkbox for each parameter:
    by default, this field is selected which means after creating the user, the account is already activated
    Exclude SMS for Trays

    selecting this checkbox will exclude SMS notifications for trays. This harvester will not receive SMS notifications for trays

  5. Review the specified user details and configuration before saving.
  6. Click to save and create the user.
  7. A Confirmation message will appear on the screen indicating that the User was successfully created.
