In this article, you will learn how to edit/update existing orders.


There are two (2) methods of updating orders:

Method 1: Updating Orders in the Order Summary Page

This method lets you edit/update orders directly from the orders list.


  1. On the Module Menu, click Order Management and select Orders. The Orders sub-menu will expand.

  2. In the Orders sub-menu, select View Orders. You will be directed to the Order Management page.
  3. In the Orders panel, use the fields as filter parameters.
    Note: you can use multiple filter/search parameters.

  4. In this example, we used the Min Delivery Date field.
  5. After entering the filter/search parameter(s), click.
  6. The searched/filtered results will appear in the Orders list. Find the order that you want to edit/update and click its Update Ordericon.
  7. You will be directed to the Update Order page. In this page, you can update the order details. Ensure to recalculate the updated order before saving. Click RECALCULATE TOTALS if the button appears.
  8. After editing/updating the selected order, choose your next action:

Selecting this option will create another order based on the selected order with the recent changes.

Selecting this option will put the selected order on hold with the recent changes.

Selecting this option will save the changes for the selected order.


Method 2: Updating Orders in the Complete Order Details Page

This method lets you edit/update orders when you are viewing the complete order details.


  1. On the Module Menu, click Order Management and select Orders. The Orders sub-menu will expand.

  2. In the Orders sub-menu, select View Orders. You will be directed to the Order Management page.
  3. In the Orders panel, use the fields as filter parameters.
    Note: you can use multiple filter/search parameters.

  4. In this example, we used the Min Delivery Date field.
  5. After entering the filter/search parameter(s), click.
  6. The searched/filtered results will appear in the Orders list.
  7. Find the order that you intend to update and Double Click it to open the complete order details. You will be directed to the View Order <Order Number> page wherein you can view the complete order details. You can scroll down to view all the details under the appropriate panels (i.e. Client Information, Delivery Address, Order Details, etc.).

  8. Once you selected an order you will be directed to the View Order page. To edit/update the selected order, locate and click
  9. You will be directed to the Update Order page. In this page, you can update the order details. Ensure to recalculate the updated order before saving. Click RECALCULATE TOTALS if the button appears.
  10. After editing/updating the selected order, choose your next action:
